Parmigiani fleury announced another new version in 2017 before the official first observation of the Salon in SIHH in January. The new Tonda Metrographe is an upgraded version of the Swiss brand’s most famous model, according to contemporary tastes. What do you want to know?
Major changes in this new version are apparent fleury Tonda Metrographe – can be combined with silver-plated white or oxidized black dials, add syllabi dials to the surrounding areas of the scale and resize subdials chronograph hours and minutes. Stainless steel shell measures diameter of 40 mm, sport polished completely. The black-dialed version of the watch (pictured below) features pink rose gold detail and rose gold hand subdials and a central chronometer counter. The white-dialed version has a blue detail and an iron chronometer blue hand. The decoration of the scroll shape in the hours of tracking and subdials – through a chasing tool to remove traces of material – increases the depth of the dial’s concentric circular pattern.
The borders of Figures 8-9 and 6-dot subdial are now slightly increased, and are not defined as flat-layer luminescent coatings. Parmigiani also restored the red figure “1” at the 12 o’clock bend date window, an early version of the feature Tonda Metrographe. Delta-shaped hour and minute hand dome and coated with luminescent material. Double-sided hand at 3 o’clock subdial – an element that launched the brand’s Tonda Chronor birthday, running in seconds. Run time statistics at 9 o’clock 12 hours counter and 6 o’clock 30 minutes counter.
Inside, visible through the sapphire caseback Parmigiani is automatically wound on the PF315 caliber, 46 jewels, 28800-vph frequency and 42-hour reserve force. It includes a modular quarter-hour chronometer and a bridge decorated with Cortez de Genève. Two versions of the Parmigiani fleury Tonda Metrographe are mounted on calf leather shoulder straps and steel folding buckle, priced at $ 11,500. The steel handcuffed version (not the figure) is $ 12,000.
